Summary: Looking down, Harry saw a great circular ditch, with a banked up area surrounding it, which enclosed several fields, with roads and houses and trees dotted about in the middle.

“We'll land here,” Malfoy said. “Ever seen Avebury before?”

Harry shook his head and followed as Malfoy swooped down to a clear patch of grass near what looked like a group of tall stones.

Notes: Dear birdsofshore, happy birthday! I really wanted to make you something for your birthday, and this is one of my favourite stories that you've written (and in general, really, it's fabulous). I originally planned to make the scene where they're at the cinema, but they really wouldn't cooperate with me. I really enjoyed doing something for this particular scene too, especially since I visited Avebury not too long ago :) I apologise for the sketchy quality of this, but time ran away from me. But I hope you'll like it nevertheless, and I hope you have a wonderful birthday.

Oh, my word! I'm so flailing about this! You don't know what it means to me to get art for my fic, and the most beautiful and perfect art too! ♥

This is just gorgeous, ane. Thank you SOOOOOOOO much. I'm just beaming at the thought that you enjoy that story, and that you captured this scene so tenderly and with all of the details - OH! I just love love that it's so recognisably Avebury, and that it captures a place that both you, and I, and Harry and Draco have been to. :DD The stones and the house and Harry and Draco and the clothes and the kiss, they're all so right, I whooped when I saw it!

I'm so sorry that I couldn't thank you immediately, but I wanted to comment properly and we were doing family stuff all day. It was such a massive treat to get the boys to bed and settle down to really relish this. I'm in love with their faces, and Draco's hand (with the gloves!!) and his robes all buttoned up, and his hair looking so soft and touchable... Harry is stealing my heart, too; he looks so intent on the kiss, and his hand resting there on the stone... *clutches self*

This is so amazingly gorgeous. <3 Love the intensity of the kiss, how they've both got their eyes shut tight, and how possessively Draco is cradling Harry's neck, and oh, the background sets such a lovely wistful tone for the rest of it, the bare trees bent in the wind. Wahhhh this is so lovely!!! Harry and Draco are so beautiful and so intensely wrapped up in each other! I love the details of their expressions, and Draco's gloved hand on Harry's face.. all of it so passionate!! And you create such an idyllic feel with that landscape! Love the bare trees and the little house... you make the details come alive and I can really feel the chill air of the scene! In contrast with the heat of the kiss it just makes the whole thing so beautiful <3
