Claiming my Erised art

I actually made two things this year :D

My assigned giftee was pygmy-puffy. While I'm always a bit terrified to draw for other artists, they had a lovely and inspirational sign-up. And their wish for "soft pastels" made me want to try something new. So I made lineart and found some beautiful water colour brushes for photoshop online and some lovely soft colour palettes. This multi-panel thing is what I came up with.

Artist's Notes: Dear pygmy_puffy, thank you for your lovely signup. It was such great inspiration for me, and it made me try out a style I haven't before which was a lot of fun. I saw you wanted atmospheric scenes, pastel colours, fluffy, flat faced animals and glimpses of everyday life and your prompts mentioned cottages and rural life. So I mixed it all together, and this is what came out (I'm sorry I went for a dog rather than a cat, but I know such a dog and she's adorable so I couldn't help myself). I hope you'll like it <3 Also huge thanks to Tami for volunteering to look it over for me. You were a great support and inspired me to add a panel. Lastly, thanks heaps to old and new mods for running such an excellent fest!

The second one was a pinch hit that the mods asked me to do, making something for thistle_verse who was also a pinch-hitter, and I was very happy I was able to do it :))

Oh, I'm glad to hear that <3 What fandoms do you mostly hang out in these days?

I'm in the cap fandom and steve and bucky is the pairing i read the most. I still reblog hp fanarts, but i don't read drarry fics anymore.

I didn't for a long time either, but I'm enjoying it again now :) I'm intrigued by the cap fandom and I love the marvel movies, so I should probably check it out at some point! Glad to see you around even if we're in different fandom circles at the moment.

Ahhhh, they were both so lovely in different ways! I know I already left you a comment but I also shared all the art with Mr Birds this year and he particularly liked 'Tiny dogs' :DD
