Being new and stuff

The whole being new thing here is a bit of a challenge for me. I feel a bit like someone attending a party with no one she knows, and, in fear of making a fool of herself, sits alone in a corner. It is sort of silly of me though, because everyone here seems really nice and welcoming and most of the comments I've made have been answered. So I guess I just have to put myself a bit more out there :) I plan on attending the hd_smoochfest, at least by prompting but hopefully by doing some fan art as well. Because I do love to draw, I just usually don't show that many people, and frankly the idea is a bit terrifying.

Another plan I hope to set in motion is to start commenting on my fanfic favourites from the last almost a year that I've been lurking here. I feel a bit bad about reading so much without commenting, but I didn't create this account until very recently. I'm going to get better at that.

On another note, the winter seems to have "finally" come to Trondheim. The temperature dropped suddenly from 8°C (46°F) last week to -15 (5°F) this morning, and it's bloody freezing! When I first walked out the door this morning the cold air had me gasping for breath. I'm definitely more of a summer person. I wish I could just go into hibernation (or maybe just someplace warm) until spring.

Lastly I'm adding a little Harry-chibi I made, because they are fun to draw!
