I loved reading your thoughts on these. As you know I've started Larry fic a couple of times, but it makes it hard for me that I am somehow not emotionally involved at all in their characters. And I know that's the same with reading original fiction, it should grow on you, but somehow I then always grab for the good old HP fan fic since I'm immersed in that world already. Maybe I'm just lazy haha. In my defense (or further proof that I've grown lazy over time since being in fandom), I almost never read original fic anymore, because yeah, why invest in that when there's shiny sparkly Drarry and Snarry and nextgen looming just around the corner?
