Why don't we have ship names for the next-gen or cross-gen ships?

I'm all for Scarry and Dralbus and Scalbus (or maybe Alpius?). What about Scames? Or is Jorpius better? And Jalbus? What about the threesome Jalpius?

They all sound like skin complaints! "Sorry about the scratching, I've got some nasty Scalbus in my armpit." Or toilet cleaner? "We need to buy Scames."
